Review - Tahmazo T210X Lithium Powered Starter

Tahmazo T210X Lithium Powered Starter-1

I fly the 90-size helicopters and 26cc Gasoline Helicopters. Recently, I got the T210X starter and I am very happy with what its performance. Even my buddies at the field (including the folks whose starters have failed to start their engines) are now borrowing it to start their helicopters.

The attached battery pack of the T210X is a 4-cells LIFE or commonly known as LiFePO4 cells. This new combination works very good when I start my 26cc gasoline engines. This new battery pack last longer as compared to the previous NiMh pack with no loss of power. In the past, I charged my starter battery once every weekend, but with the T210X, I charge my starter once every MONTH, and sometimes longer.

T210X comes with a silicon starter cone that will provide maximum grip for the spinner or starter shaft, while the battery stand provides a firm support for the starter.

On one occasion, I have a fuel-locked YS91ST engine but after a long struggle to turn the engine over, the pin that holds the starter gear broke. After getting the pin replaced, the rest of the starter was fine. Now, when faced with a fuel-locked situation, I would tilt my helicopter to the muffler side and manually free the engine from the fuel-lock before using the starter to start up the engine.
